April 9, 2015 Participation of LLC "EcoService" in the International Conference MARPART-SEBS.
April 9, 2015 the representatives ofLLC "EcoService" participated in the International Joint Conference MARPART-SEBS: Partnership in area Disaster Preparedness at sea, search and rescue in the Far North."
The conference was organized «Contractors Association of Arctic projects«Murmanshelf» Murmansk State Technical University, the University of Nordland and Norwegian company" AkvaplanNiva ".
The event is organized within the confines of two international projects: "Preventing emergencies at sea and international cooperation in the High North" (MARPART) and "Search and rescue in the eastern part of the Barents Sea" (SEBS). These projects focus on the development of practical bilateral Russian-Norwegian cooperation, mutual understanding of the challenges ahead in ensuring safe navigation in the North, the involvement of stakeholders in the discussion, development and implementation of joint training programs and staff training.
In the conference discussed the issues on the organization of search and rescue operations in the North, the use of existing resources, the development of cross-border cooperation, security of commercial maritime navigation and maritime activities, the preparation of the fishing fleet to act in emergency situations.
The speakers were specialists from companies FGBU "Murmansk Department for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of Environment", "Gazprom VNIIGAZ", representatives of the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies, the staff of the Murmansk State Technical Universitet and others.
Director ofLLC "EcoService" Alexander LeonidovichGlazov made a presentation on the topic "Reaction to oil spills in the shoreline, the Russian experience and cleaning methods."
On April 10, within the confines conference was organized the excursion to the base of LLC"EcoService" (Murmansk, st.Novoselskaya, 19).
